It is hard to be shocked today by the actions of Republican leaders, but the shooting death of Renee Nicole Good breaks through any normalization of their behavior and should shock the soul of every American. I am stunned that, instead of launching an active investigation into every aspect of Renee’s death, the DOJ wants to investigate her wife!!
The only failing of using the word “stunned” in this situation is that it falls short of how evil and immoral Trump is, how evil and immoral the DOJ is, and how evil and immoral Republican leadership is.
The shooter is clearly suffering from PTSD due to an earlier experience of being dragged 50 feet by a car. Given his condition and what he went through, there was NO WAY that such a triggered person should have been back out on the street with a loaded weapon.
Every aspect of ICE in America today is a grave affront to everything this nation stands for.
