Fitzpatrick misleads us again!
Brian Fitzpatrick is working to introduce a bill into Congress called “Fuel the Force Act.” It is an excellent bill that will encourage young men and women to join their police force by offering a substantial tax break after five years of service. What infuriates me about this, as so many of Fitzpatrick’s actions do, is that Republicans in the House have completely re-written the history of January 6, 2021. Police officers protecting Fitzpatrick and all members of the House and Senate were viciously attacked. Mitch McConnell stated that the President was responsible, and Fitzpatrick called Trump’s actions “an attempted coup.” So, let me get this straight — we want to encourage you to join the police force, but when you are attacked, we will turn our backs and support a criminal President who should have been held accountable for his well-documented crimes. It is the constant hypocrisy that gets to me!
